  "Description": "Extracts features from amplification curve data of\nquantitative Polymerase Chain Reactions (qPCR) (Pabinger S. et\nal. (2014) <doi:10.1016/j.bdq.2014.08.002>) for machine\nlearning purposes. Helper functions prepare the amplification\ncurve data for processing as functional data (e.g., Hausdorff\ndistance) or enable the plotting of amplification curve classes\n(negative, ambiguous, positive). The hookreg() and hookregNL()\nfunctions (Burdukiewicz M. et al. (2018)\n<doi:10.1016/j.bdq.2018.08.001>) can be used to predict\namplification curves with an hook effect-like curvature. The\npcrfit_single() function can be used to extract features from\nan amplification curve. PCRedux was published in the Journal of\nOpen Source Software (<10.21105/joss.04407>).",
